making footprints in Oregon's coast

A week after we camped in Veneta, my husband and I, drove to Florence. I was excited for it will be my first time to be in the beach here in Oregon! The views on the way are spectacular. I had seen a lot of pine trees and I kept thinking of Edward and Bella's scene in the Twilight movie, and that vision of particular moment seemed like came alive to me, as if I am there - standing, and happily watching them. Anyway, after nearly an hour of driving, the scent of the ocean filled the air. I gasped myself to catch some breath for the cold wind had started to invade our car, even the sun above was so bright and sunny. My husband kept driving a little more to find the spot for public access, we can hear the sounds of the waves, teasing both the wind, and ourselves. It was so tempting! Finally, I am just steps away!

The moment I jumped out of the car, I hurriedly ran to the other side of it, to have my jacket. Yes, a jacket! I was born and grew in Philippines, where the climate is much different from where I am now. As my husband prepared his self, I saw a group and there's this lady who was so covered! And perhaps, I should had done it too (or at least, brought a beach towel or a throw - why? reason later :P )

As we walk, my husband decided to go back for he needed to be sure he locked our car, and also to get his own protection. Walking in the sands made me feel that I was in a desert. It was windy and the sands kinda felt a little painful every time they touched my legs, but it's fine! I just ignored it by enjoying my summer funtime! After few minutes of walking against the wind, I decided to stop for a while and wait for my husband. I can use him to cover and protect me from the playful blow of winds, for at that time, I was kinda freaking out that any moment I will faint, for I was having trouble to breath. It did worked a bit. Yay!

When my eyes saw the dancing waves, I ran fast to chase them and the play began! I knew that the water is almost an ice for me, I didn't stopped myself and let my feet touch the wet ground and wait till the waves gave me some splashes! I ran back and forth, enjoying it so much as if just a while ago I had felt pain just to get there!
I went back to my husband and kissed him, and told him how glad I am. And sure I did said "Thank you" And invited him to join me in my fun time! I knew the ocean will meet me in the middle so I ran back to it! I wanted to step a little more, but my feet were so numb to meet at least an inch above my limit! I was really having fun!

When our feet got enough bonding moment with the ocean, we decided to walk and climb a little mountain of rocks. Oh god, sure it wasn't the best idea! The sands gave us both an excruciating pain. We were both wearing shorts, and aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! We both decided to go back in the car, but when I saw a different view, I kinda ignored that we were in pain! But ohhhhh my! It can't be ignored for more than five minutes.

At last, we reached the safe spot! We cuddled each other and talked! Even we had some pains being there, sure we had enjoyed and we will be back there sometime soon again!

The Dentist is ON

Around 1pm yesterday, my husband accompanied me to his dentist. At first I was feeling scared but it happened it wasn't painful at all. I had a good experience and I like the practices here compared to where I grew up.

(I want to write more but my brain is starting to zzzzz.. perhaps let's do this again tomorrow? I won't take NO for an answer) hahahahaha
